Draft GSP Public Hearing Held On December 2, 2019

A public hearing on the draft Tulare Lake Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) was held by the Tulare Lake Subbasin Groundwater Sustainability Agencies (GSAs) at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 2, 2019 in the Kings County Board of Supervisors Chambers, located at 1400 W. Lacey Blvd. in Hanford, California.

 

Tulare Lake Subbasin-Wide Public Outreach Meetings: Groundwater Sustainability Plan for the Tulare Lake Subbasin

Two subbasin-wide outreach meetings regarding the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) and the draft Groundwater Sustainability Agency were held, one on October 9, 2019 at the Lakeside Community Church in Hanford, and one on October 15, 2019 at the Lemoore Civic Auditorium.

Public Hearing Held On August 14, 2017

A public hearing was held on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10 a.m. at the District office (286 W. Cromwell Avenue in Fresno, California).  The Board received public comments on the proposed Proposition 218 land-based assessments outlined in the Proposition 218 Engineer's Report (PDF).

This public hearing was held in Kettleman City, California to hear comments from the public regarding the SWKGSA’s proposed formation of a Groundwater Sustainability Agency within its boundaries in the Tulare Lake Subbasin.
